Key ComponentsThe system typically consists of several integrated components: 

• Silo/Hopper: A large bin for storing bulk feed outside or inside the poultry house.
• Drive Motor: The power unit that operates the auger to move the feed through the pipes.
• Conveying Pipe: Galvanized steel or plastic pipes that run the length of the poultry house, transporting the feed.
• Auger: A heavy-duty, spiral-shaped mechanism inside the pipes that physically moves the feed.
• Feeding Pans: Numerous pans attached to the feed line from which the broilers eat. They are designed to minimize feed waste and often feature adjustable feed levels for different bird ages.
• Material Level Sensor: A sensor located at the end of the feed line that automatically controls the drive motor, turning it on when feed levels are low and off when full, ensuring an uninterrupted supply.
• Winching System: A mechanism to raise and lower the entire feeding line, making it easy to adjust the height for the birds' age and for cleaning purposes.
